Due to the growing interconnectedness of countries, economies and people, the modern world of work requires a global dimension as an attribute of new employees. An internship in a different country will not only develop global citizenship but also give you a unique work experience entry on your Curriculum Vitae (resume).
Traveling Scholar provides professional internships based in Port Elizabeth, the Garden Route (Jeffreys Bay, George, Knysna and Mossel Bay) and Cape Town, South Africa.
Our internships will encourage career and personal development as well as give you the unique experience of immersing yourself in one of the world’s most unique cultures.
Traveling Scholar will place you at an internship that will: deepen your understanding of your intended career path, while providing you with 24/7 support, weekly culturally inspired activities and optional weekend excursions to other South African cities or African countries.
We will update our internship list on a regular basis, however, if your preferred internship is not on our list, we can create a customised internship for you.
Currently, we offer the following internships:
- Economic Development
